A strategy game where you take on the role of a municipal manager protecting cities from dynamically spreading wildfires. Deploy firefighters, enact policies, manage budgets, and make high-stakes decisions under time pressure as fires grow more dangerous with each level. Balance resource allocation across multiple regions, unlock new policies as you progress, and fight to keep your cities from being consumed by flames. How long can you hold the line?

3. Run WildfireSimulator.exe
macOS

3. Right-click the app and select Open (required on first launch due to Gatekeeper)
4. If the app still won't open, open Terminal and run: xattr -cr ~/Downloads/FireRescueNewMac.app (adjust the path if you extracted it elsewhere), then try
opening it again
How to Play
- WASD — Move the camera
- Scroll Wheel — Zoom in and out
- Click a city — Open its management panel
- Deploy firefighters to control active fires
- Enact policies to slow fire spread, improve land recovery, or share resources between cities
- Manage your budget carefully — units and policies cost money
- Survive as long as possible as fires grow stronger each level
